Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus…
Today we lift up the precious mothers in nursing homes who feel forgotten. They once gave their all, and now their rooms are quiet. Their phones rarely ring. Their names are rarely called. But God—You know their names. And You call them daughter.
Wrap them in Your comfort. Let them feel Your presence in every lonely hour. Fill their hearts with sweet memories and new peace. Let joy rise up again, even in old age.
Like Anna the prophetess, who worshiped You daily in the temple as a widow of many years, remind these women that they are not “done.” Their prayers still matter. Their voice still carries weight in heaven.
Renew their sense of purpose. Let laughter return to their spirit and dignity to their days. Help them to know—beyond every shadow—that they are loved.
